Hinjawadi Citizen Connect is an initiative conceptualised by Sagar Dattatray Sakhare, a young social and political leader from Hinjawadi with a long-standing commitment to community development and public service.
हिंजवडी सिटीझन कनेक्ट ही हिंजवडीतील युवा सामाजिक व राजकीय नेतृत्व सागर दत्तात्रय साखरे यांच्या संकल्पनेतून साकारलेली नागरिक-केंद्रित संकल्पना आहे.
His journey in social work began at a young age through the Changbhale Group, established in 2005. Through this platform, he has consistently worked across areas such as civic infrastructure, roads, water supply, sanitation, waste management, health, education, sports, youth development, women's empowerment, environmental initiatives and community welfare.
सागर साखरे यांच्या सामाजिक कार्याची सुरुवात तरुण वयात चांगभले ग्रुपच्या माध्यमातून झाली. या माध्यमातून त्यांनी नागरी सुविधा, रस्ते, पाणीपुरवठा, स्वच्छता, कचरा व्यवस्थापन, आरोग्य, शिक्षण, क्रीडा, युवक विकास, महिला सक्षमीकरण, पर्यावरण संवर्धन आणि विविध सामाजिक उपक्रमांमध्ये सातत्याने कार्य केले आहे.
At the age of 22, Sagar Sakhare was elected Sarpanch of Hinjawadi in 2012 and was re-elected in 2015. During his tenure, he worked on several development initiatives including roads, drainage, water infrastructure, CCTV, sanitation, educational facilities, sports infrastructure and other essential civic services.
वयाच्या अवघ्या २२ व्या वर्षी, २०१२ मध्ये ते हिंजवडीचे सरपंच म्हणून निवडून आले आणि २०१५ मध्ये पुन्हा सरपंचपदी निवडून आले. त्यांच्या कार्यकाळात रस्ते, ड्रेनेज, पाणीपुरवठा, CCTV, स्वच्छता, शैक्षणिक सुविधा, क्रीडा सुविधा आणि इतर मूलभूत नागरी सुविधांसाठी विविध विकासकामांना चालना देण्यात आली.
He has also served as President of the Nationalist Youth Congress, Mulshi Taluka, strengthening youth participation and grassroots engagement across the region. He continues his social work as the Founder-President of Changbhale Group Trust, Hinjawadi.

In his latest electoral journey from the Hinjawadi–Maan Zilla Parishad constituency, he received 17,112 votes, reflecting significant public support and trust.
नुकत्याच झालेल्या हिंजवडी–माण जिल्हा परिषद गटाच्या निवडणुकीत त्यांनी १७,११२ मते मिळवली, जी त्यांच्या सामाजिक कार्याला आणि नेतृत्वाला मिळालेल्या जनसमर्थनाची पावती आहे.
Building on this journey, Hinjawadi Citizen Connect is his initiative to provide citizens with a structured platform to raise civic issues, connect them with the appropriate administrative authorities and ensure consistent follow-up towards effective resolution.
